LINWOOD TOWN BOARD.
An adjourned ordinary meeting of the above Board was held on Tuesday evening last at 7 p-m. Present-Messrs Collier, Clephane, R. P. Glen (chairman), and Jno. Goodman. Mr Clbphanb apologised for the absence of Mr Hale. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read from the Property Tax Commissioner, re correction in valuation roU. W. Jamieson, asking that the street formed by Mr Redpath and »»t—»_>Tf might be named Livingstone street Resolved—That tbe street now known as Glasgow street be hereafter named Livingstone street J. Penny, re rates on bis property. Clerk to reply. The Finance Committee for fortnight ending December 29th, £1© 6s9d; credit balance at Bank, £2S lis 2d. Resolved—That the Pbbss be tbe official paper for 1884. Besolved—That _»_ fee i tone charged for the registration of dogs 1 for 1884 be 10s. The Clerk was instructed
to inform the co-tractor that tbe Board did not cons——r the dog ooll—rs supplied by him to be nearly equal to the sample. A spedal meeting with reference to the proposed Barbed Wire By-law was then held. Present—Messrs Cottier, Clepbane, R. P. Glen (chairman), and Jno. Goodman. Resolved—That the meeting be adjourned until the conclusion of tbe next ordinary meeting.
