DEATH OF AN OLD SETTLER.
• '■ •- L ' ■ . ' Telegraph Press Association Copyright Christchukch, This Day. Mr James Temple Fisher, who was Postmaster-General in the Grey Ministry, died yesterday, aged 76' years. He was a native of Sandwich, Kent, and before coming to Lyttelton m the Charlotte Jane served, for several years in the British navy. He took up farming at the Heatheoie, which constituency he represented for a number of years* He leaves seven sons and one daughter, all married. , One son, Ms <W« S. Fisher, is clerk at the local Magistrate's Court . [One son is a Feilding resident, and is in oharga of the ironmongery department of the business of Mr Joseph Parragh.]
