W.Rced. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at the south-west corner of the road west of Sect. 48, 12s chains frontage to the Heathcote River Road, north bank, back in a north-west direction 40 chains 12£ chains wide at the back, and numbered 71 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 72. Rev. G. It. Paulson. 150 acres in the Ciiristchurch district, commencing at one mile 31>£ chains on the south Lincoln Road ; frontage along south boundary of the Christchurch town reserve 16& chains, then south 40 chains, then westerly 42X chains, thence 14^ chains to the south Lincoln Road, 1 mile 77 chains along it, and thence back to the starting point, and numbered 72 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 73. Henri/ Phillips. 50 acres in the Ciiristchurch district, commencing at the southwest corner of Section 54, following the south boundary of the said section to the Heathcote River road, thence following the said road in a southerly direction 10 and a-half chains to the boundary line of Section 11, following on it 5 chains, then in a westerly direction 38 chains to the Heathcote River Road, and thence following the corner of the said road to the starting point, and numbered 73 on the chief surveyor's map.

James Wilson. 50 acres in the Ohi'istcliurcli district,commencing on the Heathcote River Road, 50 links below the south-east corner of Section 71, following- the north-eastern boundary of the said section 15 chains 20 links, thence in a northerly direction 321 chains, then at a right angle in an easterly direction 14 chains, and then in a southerly direction 39 chains to the starting- point, and numbered 74 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 75. Alfred Lake. 50 acres in the Lyttelton district, to be laid off with frontage to a road to be marked out by the surveyors, so as to include Mr. Gibbie's house and improvements, and numbered 75 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 76. Lord Spencer and E. Rose. 700 acres in the Christchurch district, commencingl at 2 miles 8 chains on the Lower Lincoln Road, fronting on that line of road 62% chains to the south-west^ bounded on west and south by the Heathcote River Road, the eastern boundary being- at right angles to the said road from starting point for a distance of 146 chains, and there joining- the Heathcote River Road, and numbered 76 on the chief surveyor's map.

Lawrence. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at south-west corner of road adjoining Section 43 at right angles to it 33§ chains, then at right angles 15 chains, then easterly 33s chains, thence at right angles southerly 15 chains, back to starting point, and numbered 77 on the chief surveyor's map.

Henry Phillips. 50 acres in the Christchui'cli district, commencing about 2 miles 45 drams on the Lincoln and Harewood road, following the said road 12 and a-half chains in a westerly direction, then southerly at a right angle 40 chains, then easterly 12 and a-half chains, and then northerly 40 chains to the starling point, and numbered 78 on the chief surveyor's map.

Henry Godclon. 300 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at the northeast corner of road adjoining 1 Sect. 17, bounded on the north by the reserve round Christchurch, with frontage on. it .of 75 chains,.then at right angles to it 40 chains back, then 75 chains westerly, and back 40 chains to the starting point, and numbered 79 on the chief surveyor's map. Bmven. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at a point south-west of Trigonometrical Station 10, distance 57 chains ; frontage on the road of the south bank of the river Heathcote 12 and a-half chains, extending back from the river on the west side 43 chains, on the east side 41 chains, breadth at the back 12 and a-half chains, and numbered 82 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 83. J. A. Latouche. One hundred acres in the Chvistchuvch district, commencing at the road adjoining the north-east side of Sect. 70, following the said road to the Wairarapa River road, thence following the said road in a northwest direction 28 chains, then in a south direction 44 chains to the Waimairi River Road, and then following the course of the said road back to the starting point, and numbered 83 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 84. George Hart. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at about 1 mile 51 chains oh the Christchurch and Lyttelton road, frontage on the road 12^ chains to the eastward, and back 40 chains, and numbered 84 on the chief surveyor's map. ow *- *-~s <

Torlesse. 100 acres in the Mandeville district, Rangiora Wood, commencing- at the north-east corner of section 81, and going east 23 chains in the same line as the north boundary of that section, then south 40 chains, then west 25 chains, and then back to starting point 40 chains, section 81, bounding section 86 to the westward, and numbered 86 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 87. J. H. S/iears. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at a point 49J£ chains in a north direction from Trig. Station No. 11, on the side of the Avon Biver road, and bounded on the west, north, and east, by the said road, to a point 66 chains in a northeast direction from the said station 11, and from thence in a westerly direction 22}£ chains to the starting point, and numbered 87 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 88. Lady Emily Bathurst. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, immediately adjoining section 84, frontage on the north side of the Christ church and Lyttelton road 12X chains, and back 40 chains, and numbered S8 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 89. W. H. Gwynn. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, immediately adjoining the road bounding section 48, frontage on the south side of the Christchurch and Lyttelton road 12| chains, and back 47 chains along the western boundary, then south-east 12§ chains, then 11^ chains to section 37, then bounded back to the road by last named section, and section No. 20, and numbered 89 on the chief surveyor's map.

Perceval. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at the southeast corner of section 87, and continuing along the Avon river road 18 chains, thence in a westerly direction 42 chains, 80 links to the Avon river road, following it 28 chains to the southwest corner of the said section No. 87, and from thence along its southenrboundary line to the starting point, and numbered 90 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 93. H. W. Keele. 60 acres in Port Levy, on the -western side, frontage to the sia, and numbered 93 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 94. C. Bovcn. 50 acres in the Clnistchureh district, commencing on the Wairaraya river road at the easternmost point of section 70,

frontage to the said river road 15 chains, thence south 4/£ chains, thence southwest 30 chains to the Wai Maiii river road, frontage to the said road 17 chains, joining section 70 at its most southern point, and from thence proceeding in a north east direction 37# chains to starting point, and numbered 94 on tne chief surveyor's map. Bridge. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at the junction of section 37 with the Heathcote river road, along the southern boundary of section 37 till it meets 89, then along the eastern boundary of section 89 to its south east extremity, then across the Heathcote river road, and then north east along that river road to the starting point 22 chains, and numbered 96 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 97. T. Cholmondeley. 50 acres in the harbour of Port Levy, sea frontage to the bay at the head of the harbour.

Bishop. 100 acres in the Christcburch district, commencing on river road, left bank of Heathcote, I chain from the easternmost point of Section 76, frontage to the Heathcote river road about 27 chains, then in a northwest direction for 35 chains, from thence at right angles, and proceeding south west for 25 chains, again a right angle, and proceeding south east for 43 chains to starting point, and numbered 98 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 99. F. W. Gray. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at about one mile 77 chains along the Christchurch and Lyttelton road, frontage along that road, eastward 12 and a half chains, back 40 chains, and numbered 99 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 100. J. Dick en. 100 acres in the harbour of Akaroa, the part commonly known as the French farm, sea frontage, and numbered 100 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 101. Digby Macluvorth. 50 acres in the Ohristchurch district, commencing on the east side of section 99, frontage 12 and a half chains on the Lyttelton and Christchurch road, extending back at right angles to the said road, 40 chains on either side, breadth at the back 12 and a half chains, and numbered 101 on the chief surveyor's map.

T, Maunsell. 50 acres in the Cbristcburch district, commencing at the most southern point of section No. 7, bounded on the south east by the Avon, on the north west by the river Wairarepa, breadth of the section taken at right angles to the boundary of No. 7, being 15 chains, and numbered JO2 on the chief surveyor's map.

Cooper. 50 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at a point on the Christchurch and Lyttelton road, distant 50 links from the east corner of section 101, with frontage on the same road 12 and. a half chains, extending back on either side 40 chains, breadth at the back 12 and a half chains, and numbered 103 on the chief surveyor's map.

No. 104. J. B. Zee. 100 acres in the Christchurch district, commencing at the north west corner of section No. 19, westerly about 4 chains, then southerly 26 chains, thence easterly about 40 chains, and back to the starting point 26 chains, and numbered 104 on the chief surveyor's map.
