The; matter waa ordered to be attended to.. Froro-Mr Palmer, asking for the formation of a track, 12ft wide, on Palmers* Road. Consideration was deferred. From MessrsGarrick and Co., reporting an. encroachment on Innea's Boad.. It was resolved that the attention of the District Land Registrar and the St Albans Borough Council should be drawn to the matter. From Mr Peckover, complaining, of a de- ; fective culvert on the New Brighton; Boad. To be attended to.. It. was decided to clean out the drain on the North . Boad, Belfast ; to appoint Mr M'Donald, : of Papanui, ranger, dnring the illness of Mr Potter ; to form and olay a portion of Travie's Boad ; to erect a footbridge over No. 2 drain in line with the new footpath on Canal Beeerve, and to give the several owners notice to put all needful oulverta . in this footpath. It w-3 resolved to make I application to. the Selwyn County Council ' for a grant of J6200. towards the main- j tenance of the North Eoad, also for jglOO ; for North Avon and, New Brighton Bpads. \ It was decided to call tenders' for ; metal for the nawiy-formed portions of ' Siver and Free'a Eoada, and that' the gorse and broom on Biver Boad, : Dallington, should be grubbed up. The Clerk was instructed to give the City and Suburban Tramway Company final notice to put the road on each side of its line in : order from Craddock's Corner to the end ; of Dudley Creek Boad. The Surveyor was ! directed to take levels for forming Park! Terrace, New Brighton, and to report to ! next meeting. Nine tenders for the poei- ! tion of valuer were received, and that of !
