FUNERAL.
The funeral of the late Mr William Wilson took place yesterday, and was attended by a number of old identities, as well as the members of the deceased's family. The funeral left The Grove, Sydenham, for the pubUc cemetery, where it was joined by many more people. The service at the grave was performed by the Revli. C.M. Watson and the Eev E. P. Cachemaille, of St Saviour's, Sydenham. A large number of wreaths were sent by friends of the family. Amongst those present, in addition to the sons of the deceased, were :— Messrs C. C. Aikinan, J. Wilson, R. Wilson, S. Manning, W. H. Lake,' P. Hockley, R. Linn, H. Mason, H. B. Lane, T. Fountain., G. Booth. W. Thompson, T. West, 11. B. Kirk, J. B. Way, W. Recce, H. 0. D. Meares, A. Burnett, D. Pasche, W. Compton, J. Lovell, J. Nairn, W. Hooper, F. Bean and Dr C. M. Anderson.
