I (By Telegraph.'—Press Association.) NELSON, This Day. 1 The day is fine after the heavy rain, late yesterday for the M.C.O. v. Nelson match. The covered -wicket was not affected, but the outfield is slow. With an overnight score of five wickets for 131 Eden (35), Hawkes (0) faced Nichols and Barratt. In the second over Eden went lbw to Barratt without adding to his score. The same bowler cleaned, bowled E. Newman in the same over. J. Newman was another victim to Barratt in the third over, and the following ball skittled Searell. Nelson had lost nine wickets for 140 runs at noon.
