■'■ (From "The.Post's" Representative.) LONDON, 14th November. Mr. A. E. Atkinson (Wellington) is returning by" the Bimutaka. Mrs. Atkinson has left for Canada to stay for a short time with her sister. She will arrive in New Zealand about the same time as her husband. Mr. Atkinson has greatly enjoyed his visit to the Mother Country. The Hon. Mr. Justice H. E. Reed and Mrs. Bead will leave for New Zealand by the Bangitata on 22nd November. After an extensive motor tour through England and Scotland, going as far north aa Inverness, they went for a six weeks' tour on the Continent, and had a very interesting round of travel. The countries visited included Switzerland, Northern Italy, Austria, Germany, and Belgium. The return journey from Brussels to London was made by air. As the Homeward journey was made by Java, Malaya, Burmah, India, the Holy Land, Greece, and Southern Italy, Mr. and Mrs. Eeed have had a vory extensive round of travel. Except_ for an attack of, influenza which detained them, in Agra for a fortnight, they have ' enjoyed good health throughout their journeyings. An engagement of special interest to New Zealand readers is that between Professor Hugh Stewart and -Miss K. I. Massey, only daughter of the late Mr. H. A. Massey and Mrs. Massey, of Invercargill. Professor Stewart, who came from New Zealand iit the middle of 1926, has since been Dean of the Faculty of Arts of Leeds University, and recently was appointed Vice-Chan-cellor of Nottingham •University.—Mrs. and Miss Massey are going out to New Zealand by the Bangitata next week.
