VERY CONFUSING.
While motoring in England an American tourist stopped at a garage to have a small defect in his accumulator remedied.
"Waal," he inquired, when the youthful mechanic had completed the task, "what's the charge for this battery, son?"
"Sis and a half volts, sir," replied the other.
The man from across the' Atlantic scratched his head.
"Yes," he said at length, "but how does that work out in American money?"
