SEVENTEEN KILLED
LEVEL-CROSSING SMASH IN
SPAIN
MADRID, 19th December A frightful level-crossing smash occurred near San-Sadurni, Barcelona ■trovinee, when a train crashed into a motor-coach, with the result that seventeen were killed and ten injured. The driver of the train drowned himself, tiiougii he is considered to havo been blameless. The only occupant of the coach who was unhurt disappeared. It is believed he was demented.
