BROTHERS HANG TOGETHER

MONTREAL, 20th December. Two brothers, Norman and Lawrence Menard, both under twenty, were hanged together at Bordeaux gaol on Friday for the murder of John Durham a cashier, in an attempted hold-up during a blizzard last February. . At the trial both boys were impudent and defiant. By coincidence the hangings took place during a snowstorm. Both had previously served sentences for hold-ups.
