ODDFELLOWSHIP.
The half-yearly meeting of the Loyal City of Norwich Lodge, Lyttelton, for the election of officers, wa3, held last night. There was a crowded attendance. The elections for the different offices were keenly contested, a large amount of interest being j shown, and resulted as follows : — G.M., Bro G. Semmens; N.G., Bro F. Childs; V.G., Bro E. Eadcliffe; Elective Secretary, Bro J. L. Carrell; Warden, Bro H. Field; Lecture Master, Bro T. Coupar ; Guards, Bros Forester and Ealam. P.G/s Carrell, Griffiths, and Bro H. Field were appointed auditors. P.G. Giiford, in an eloquent address, brought under the notice of the brethren the advantages of a ' connection with the Widow and Orphan Fund recently established. At the conclusion he was greeted with a round of well-merited applause. The Secretary drew the attention of the brethren to the alterations in District Eules. The District Grand Master, who was present, congratulated the Lodge on its progress during the past year, and trusted it would continue. After receiving the report of Sick Visitors, the Lodge was closed in due form by N.G. G. Gemmens.
