ACCIDENTS.

« On Monday morning Mr Thomas Winter, of Rangiora, had one of his legs broken by a fall of earth, in' a gravel-pit at West Eyreton, from which he waß carting shingle. He waß taken to his home, where Dr Downes attended to his injury. A man named Cochrane, a drover from the West Coast, broke his arm at the Annat Hotel by the breaking of a rail over which he was vaulting on Sunday last.
