ACCIDENTS.
« On Monday morning Mr Thomas Winter, of Rangiora, had one of his legs broken by a fall of earth, in' a gravel-pit at West Eyreton, from which he waß carting shingle. He waß taken to his home, where Dr Downes attended to his injury. A man named Cochrane, a drover from the West Coast, broke his arm at the Annat Hotel by the breaking of a rail over which he was vaulting on Sunday last. The man was conveyed to Sheffield, and there attended to by Dr Meadows. [Peb Pbksb Association.] AUCKLAND, Nov. 20. George Allen, a youth of seventeen, has been treated at the Hospital for injuries sustained while out shooting with some companions in the neighbourhood of. Onehunga yesterday. One of his comrades accidentally discharged in Allen's face a rifle loaded with a blank cartridge. His face and eyes were injured, but not seriously. „______________
